I know what is sleep

I know what is sleep.
It is the dark light
Where the waking world is seen
.

I know what anger is

I know what anger is.
It is the heart's suicidal hug
When hope seeks, and finds despair.

I know what is hope.

I know what is hope.
It is the wind's tug
Upon a kite, whose strings are cut.

I know what violence is.

I know what violence is.
It is the cross where love is nailed,
When Faith betrays itself.

I Know What is God

I know what is God-
It is knowing that a Sunset
Is a Sunrise somewhere else.

Zen message

When you are deluded and full of doubt, even a thousand books of scripture are not enough. When you have realized understanding, even one word is too much... Fen-Yang

It is the man with a clear eyesight that sees. When we are less sure, not confident of ourselves, we find it difficult to develop faith and trust. Even in what we believe, in what we do.

It is not the world that is at fault. It is okay.

It is just that, sometimes, we don't get it right.

A Prayer by Vallalar

Be my friend, be with me.
Be with me, be my guard,
Night and day, be with me.
Be with me, guard me so
No evil follows where I go.

Be with me, dearest friend,
Loving Kindness, be with me.
Be with me, grant me all
That I want, be with me,
Give me all that I ask.

Kindred Soul, be with me.
Be with me, within and without.
Save me, be with me-
Be with me, not one in earth or sky
Troubles me, with you by me.

Be with me, my friend,
United as one, be with me.
Be with me, more dear than life,
Join me in love, be with me.
I shall know no tiredness.

Sweetest friend, be with me,
Be with me, dissolved in joy,
Alive, and aware, be with me,
Be with me, as what I am-
One with me, my life, my love.

Brahma Sutra

#The Upanishads speak of the unenlightened men becoming objects of enjoyment to the gods:
"He who worships another god, thinking, "He is one and I am another", does not know. He is like an animal to the gods"
... Brahma Sutra Bhasya

I think this means, gods are pleased with such a one as this in the same way we are pleased with a loveable pet or the useful animal.

Ribhu Gita

RIBHU GITA 19:18

This is the certainty of the incomparably wise man:
I am the Brahman that is beyond the waking state.
I am the Brahman that is beyond the dream experience.
I am the Brahman that is beyond the state of sleep.
I am the Brahman that is beyond all dualities.
I am the Brahman that is beyond activities.
I am the Brahman that is beyond agencies.
I am the Brahman that is empty of nothing,
And is perfect.
